Hi all

New to this site although not to the world of SAABs. Currently own an 1986 9000k and now a 1993 C900 Cab

The Cab is a ruby red auto, with low mileage. Will post pics shortly. Love driving it. Sure its a little sluggish, but it does cruise nicely. Anyway, my 9k turbo takes care of the speed urges!
The Super Aero rims will go on it shortly (any pics out there with C900s with 16 inch super aero rims?)

Being new to the world of Cabs, I have a few Questions as I want to give it a service.

1) what maintanence do I need to do with the roof? (works fine at the moment). Are the roof mechanisms reliable?

2) the hood on mine is the original. It is generally ok but not outstanding, with some wear on the sides. Any tips on how these could be patched up?

3) what coolant do I use in these? Is a formula with low silicates ok? (head gasket was done 10,000 km ago as common with the 2.1). What is the procedure for coolant changes with these?

4) Any links on how I service the auto?

4) Any links on how I do a diff fluid change? What diff fluid is recommended for these?

5) Is a 15/40 grade oil ok for these engines?

I am also chasing some ruby red touch up paint sticks - does any body know a supplier that can ship internationally (I am Australia). And finally, is there a good international supplier for soft tops that I should may be consider for the future?
