Hi :)

The clutch on my 1997 2.3 Aero is very heavy. so much so it burst the pipe to slave cylinder.

Replaced that but I have been told it needs a new clutch, could there be any other reason for the heavy clutch?

If not what is the clutch replacement like to do & has anyone got one for sale, or best place to buy whilst I am in the UK.

Any info would be great.

All the best Clypse

Keep up the good work

Clutch worn out! Pressure plate gets high effort - pay someone will be much cheaper!

Thanks Slant4.

I agree but I live in the Isle of Man & this has happened in the uk (north yorkshire actually). I have workshop back home.

Can you or anyone let me know where I can get clutch fitted. I could repair if swomeone has workshop for hire.

All the best Clypse

 Managed to get new clutch fitted £300 in Pontifract.

Thought that was ok. normally do all my own work but away from the workshop.

This thread is now concluded.

Thanks for all help, clutch is still heavier than the 95. is that normal?
