Hey everyone,

Does anyone know what metal the grab bar across the very front of the roof is made of? Its the one just inside that you have to pull down on to lock the roof down. Mines developed some white flakey corrosion and when i retract the roof i get an almost pleasent snowing effect sprinkling onto me (though making me look like i have dandruff is not so cool!)

I'm going to have a go at treating it soon, i assume i'll have to use different rust prevention products then for iron oxide.

any ideas?

The A bar is aluminium, they all do that eventually.
