Hello there,

I'm in the market for a 9-5 2.2TiD. Saloon or Estate, not fussed (they both loko great in my eyes!).

Must have's:
Manual gearbox
Half or full leather
Straight bodywork
Full Service History
Dual Zone Climate

Would like to have's:
Less than 100k miles
Vector or Arc
Fully working SiD

Would like to stay away from:
Wooden dash (I'm not quite ready for the pipe and slippers yet

My budget is around £4k. Well, when I say 'around' what I actually mean is I can't go over this figure.
I am based in Essex and happy to travel but not to the other side of the country if I can help it.

Think that covers everything, please PM me if you have something roughly fitting the above description.

Many thanks

Dave

Hi DaveB.

Speaking as one who thinks he knows... You need manual ( not sure about diesel )

Full Leather + heat/vent/memory. Straight body. This is usual!. Dual Zone. They all have this!

The trick is doe's it work?? Switch ignition on. after a few seconds...If blower comes on full pelt,

this is a good sign! It can be turned off via Tech 11. Ohterwise it's an expensive/cheap repair!

The cheap one is a split arm or new bushes in motor. Expensive.... you don't really want to know do you??

Wooden Dash... Buy it.... I'll sell you a grey plastic one!!

Budget... NEVER state your topline!! Say £3200 if your looking at a £4000 car and see what happens!!

BTW I did only some of the above. I got a cheap car that has cost a fortune since!!!

Si.

Just to say I am still looking. Jonathan's car looks great but just not what I am looking for.

Realised that I need a Vector - as I am looking for a car with the sports seats and steering wheel, colour coded sills etc.

Thanks

Dave
