Hey everyone,
Well i had to wait a while for a nice (ish) day, but finally got round to taking some photos of my new ride.
Shes a 1990 T16 Turbo, 4 owners from new, 90,000 on the clock. I've only done 200miles in it and so far, so good. Only two minor niggles, shes running a little cold - so new thermostat and theirs a minor leak from the power steering.
Not had time to do much, just clean her up and proof the hood. Body work is in good condiotion with a couple of minor rust patches. Paintwork is generally ok, but the bonnet is dull, i've t-cut and waxed it plenty, which has improved it, but you might still see blemishes on the photos. Its got lots and lots of tiny scratches on it. Cutting it by hand only partly cleared them up - any ideas what it could be?
And for the hood? Apart from one minor leak, which i've sealed, its in very good condition - it goes up/down smoothly, quietly and quickly.
All in all i'm very pleased :) Its a big improvement over my competant but anonymous BMW 3 series diesel - though when it comes to the difference in mpg  ooer!
Enjoy the pics!
