I've got a small problem on my '00 9-3 2 litre auto. The temperature gauge always remains round about the blue segment regardless of the engine temp. My Hyundai dealer has replaced the sender (under warranty) which screws into the cylinder head and confimed this is working but the signal is somehow getting lost between here and the dashboard. Everything else works fine, cooling fan trips in at about 110degrees. The mechanic is waiting for Saab to send a wiring diagram to help him trace the fault, but in the meantime can anyone suggest what it might be?

Temp is routed through the management computer so its "fake" rather than real as far as I can remember.

So it might be worth checking the connectors in and out of the management unit.
