I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
My wife's had a 1998 9-3 2.0 SE convertible for almost a year.
Towards the end of last summer, the roof failed to lower a couple of times, especially when it had not been used for a couple of weeks. However, a couple of goes would always win through.
However, with today being the best day of the year so far I decided to give the car a once over and get the roof down for the first time in 5 months.
Unfortunately, it would not lower at all.
After releasing the front latch and pressing the button, the rear latches release, you can hear some sort of motor running, but the rear window section only lifts a few mm of the rear deck before failing. No amount of cajouling or repeating works.
I've had a look round the other topics, but cannot find anything similar.
Any useful suggestions appreciated.
