Hello,
Had a bit of an accident last weekend, tried to drive my 900 through a bit of water and waterlocked the engine Most expensive mistake i've ever made, 2 con rods are damaged because of the hydraulic effect of the water. Can't rebuild the engine myself, having it done will cost a fortune, and the valves can be damaged as well (most likely) Therefore the engine will be replaced. My local Saab guy (CJ cars in stokerow, near Reading) can get hold of a new engine for £750. I was wondering if that's a reasonable price for an engine?
Cheers, Alex
