I think I'll move this to the Saab Forecourt, along with all the other sparkling cars!

Very nice....what model do you have there...I can see the pop-up washers and the 52 plate...looks lowered with body kit & xenons? but the wheels (and side skirt) dont look aero?!? Actually, are those alloys a new model?

Did you polish or just wax?

I am under the impression it is a launch model of the vector quite what extra it has i dont know i am going to have a look into it. Yes yore right it has Xenons and the side skirts are different to aero ones thay have extra bits by the wheel arches. I didnt like the look of the wheels in the advert for the car but in the flesh they look great and fill the arches well. Do you think it is lowered then? I have noticed it is a bit harsh over the speed bumps.

I polished it then waxed, the finish is great i also used a microfiber towel to dry instead of a shamos leather and some detailing clay to remove a few tar sport etc. Have a look at this section of a jag forum i use to use the guy runs a delating company and has posted a lot of hints and tips on cleaning and reducing swirling in the lacker. Some of the work he has done looks amazing.

aye, could well be lowered....I Likey those alloys. You can decode the factory content of the car, eg sports suspension from the vin. There a post on decoding the vin somewhere on the forums here. Just run a search.

We have a launch model Vector with the sport suspension. This came with 17 inch wheels.

Your wheels are not the Vector wheels and the body kit is aftermarket.

Launch model Vector had the following (at least)

Comfort closing windows
Folding mirrors
ES2 -7 audio
Electric driver's seat
Park Assist
Xenon lights and washers
In-dash 6 CD player
Leather steering wheel
Leather/cloth seating

Thats strange http://www.saabscene.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif as my car has:

Electric driver's seat
Xenon lights and washers
In-dash 6 CD player
Leather steering wheel
Leather/cloth seating

Im not sure about the:
Comfort closing windows (what are these as i havn't heard of them before)
ES2 -7 audio (is this the stereo with the bigger screen)

I know i havn't got:
Folding mirrors (unless i havn't found a button for this)
Park Assist

Mine is an early 2003 registerd of a 52plate does anyone know of they changed the spec of the models along the line anywhere?
I will have to have a look in for post regarding decoding the vin and see what that turns up.
