Hello again,

Thanks to all the people who turned up last week, 15 Saabs in the car park not bad for a chilly November evening.
The pub that we have been using seems to be getting smaller and smaller so we have decided to look for another venue nearby. Apparently Dave knows of another Pub only a few minutes from the original one, we will keep you posted.

If anybody is reading this and as yet have not been able to come and see us (once seen never forgotten) why not send me your email address by PM and we'll include you on the email list.

We have a couple of daytime events planned for the New year, hopefully in January a trip to APL in Kirkham for a chat about Maptun ECU upgrades, then perhaps for a leisurely drive to sunny Blackpool. We are hoping to meet at APL on a Saturday around lunchtime, date to be confirmed, this will replace the normal Monday evening meeting for January.

We have booked a Rolling road session at Tunit in Chorley on 10th February, we have arranged a price of £30.00 + VAT (which includes a small donation to the club) for three power runs and a performance printout. They have a really tidy set-up and a massive car park so should fit us in nicely.
Again if you would like to meet up with us on the day give me a shout and I'll add your name to the list.

So the next meetings is Monday 11th of December perhaps at the new venue. Apparently Santa may be dropping in with some Saab goodies!

It's a bit of a hike from here, so I think Monday nights are unlikely, but please add me to the mailer, as I would certainly be interested in any weekend events. Unfortunately I am out of the country for the RR event, which is a real shame.

Thanks for the reply from the Scottish borders. You will be most welcome to attend any of our events and I will get Neal (the secretary) to include you in the mailing list.

I'm sure there is a more local club near you. There was a rolling road event recently.

Well, tomorrows the night, It will be the last meeting at the Railway Tavern for a few months as we are planning a trip to APL, Kirkham (the MAPTUN people) in January and a rolling road session at TUNIT, Chorley in February.

APL are trying to make it a special day as they are enthusiastic as us. So do come along and get to see a few people before one of the events.

More details regarding the 2007 events will be posted some time this week.
