What is the correct model of SU fuel pump for a 62 2 stroke? Cheers!

No idea myself, but I'm sure Peter, Magnus or sonett will have a view next time they're around

I have a pump with AUA89 on it and it needed new points so i phoned Southern Carburettors and they think this is the correct model. As i write i am sitting waiting for the postman to bring me a re-build kit and then i am off to collect my new battery so hopefully over the next 48 hrs my car will be running for first time since 1971!!!!!GULP! I have the camcorder and a fire extinguisher at the ready.

Your pump IS the correct one, either SU pump AUA 79 or AUA 89 were fitted to the bullnose 96.
You can now get solid state switching fitted inside these pumps, so it does away with the contact points.
